Snapping Turtle in the Yard

This morning Nico and I woke up and went outside to feed the crows. Every morning we put out a bunch of unsalted peanuts with the shell on for the crows. Crows love peanuts. While we were outside we saw something moving in the corning of the yard. I new exactly what it was right away and called Nico over to see. It was a female snapping turtle. I told Nico to keep his distance because they can and do bite, and hard. Nico was very interested in our new friend!
